Language and Background

I am fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese and have been using both in working with my clients for years. I also understand Fujianese/Taiwanese but less fluent in speaking them. I was born and raised in Taiwan and came to New York city more than 25 years ago to pursue my Master’s education. Subsequently, I went to Michigan and Delaware to complete my doctoral studies and clinical trainings. I have extensive experience working with Asian immigrants and individuals of Asian decent. I am well-rounded in treating individuals from various cultural and religious backgrounds. Personally, I am married and have two adolescents with my husband. Being a parent has allowed me to grow tremendously in my personal and professional life. In my leisure time, I enjoy travelling, practicing hot yoga, playing pickleball, skiing, swimming, playing piano, watching movies, solving puzzles in escape rooms, reading, and having a good talk with close friends.
